Homecoming

This is Makenzie's third year cheering but is was her first year getting to attend homecoming. She was so very excited and just could not wait, although she did not win she was still very happy to be there. Thank you to all of her family who came to support her that day she was very glad you all were there.

Way Behind

Well its been a long time since we update you all on how things have been going. The girls have been very busy. They had a few birthday parties to go to the first on the month that they had lots of fun at. They have both been enjoying school and day care. Morgan had her last water day last week. Makenzie has been having cheer practice three nights a week which keeps us all very busy. Sam finished traveling for work last week for at least a few months so that will be good for the girls. On the 4th. Makenzie will have homecoming at 10 am and she is very excited about that we will just pray she just does not get sick this year. Then the very next day we will have her 7th birthday party. Morgan thinks its time for her birthday as well and does not understand. I am going to put up a few pictures of the girls from this month. hope you enjoy.

First Camping Trip

So on Labor Day weekend we took our first family camping trip. Makenzie and Mommy had been together before but never all four of us. We left Sunday after church and came back Monday around lunch. We cooked corn on the cob and pork which the grill fell off the table and our food fell on the ground, but Mommy and Daddy washed the pork off and finished cooking it and we still ate. Then we shot fire works which Morgan did not like and made had marsh mellows and finally went to bed. It rained in the night but the girls never new they stayed dry. In the morning they got up and sat by the fire and fed the fish bread and looked for worms and bugs. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

A week without Daddy

This past week we had a girls week. Daddy went to Bristol to watch the races and Mommy took us to Makenzie's football game. Then Tuesday Daddy went to North Carolina for the week for work. Monday Makenzie had open house at her school where she won season tickets to the Harriman football games, she was so excited to call Daddy and tell him she won tickets for him. Morgan had a great week at daycare and is finally potty trained and having almost no accidents at all!!! She got a big prize that she picked out all on her own for that. Makenzie had her first spelling test on Friday and she made a 100 which is a big deal for us if you all knew how hard it was to get her to study her words! Sam came home late Friday night and both girls were asleep so they did not see him till this morning. They did not even notice Mommy had gone to work they were so excited to see Daddy. Also Makenzie lost another tooth last night, so that make two on top and three on bottom.

First Day of School

Monday Makenzie started 1st grade. How very hard for mom but very exciting for her she is really having a good time so far. She has Mrs Boles this year ( her cousin) so she got very lucky. On the other side of that it seems that 1st grade will be much harder, she will already have two tests on Friday and she just started this week. We will keep you updated on how she is doing. Busy Week

We have had a busy week. Makenzie started cheer practice this week and that is three nights a week. Morgans just does not like sitting in the hot sun being bored for two hours. Also with church on Wednesday nights that only gives us one night a week at home. Morgan had water day at the daycare which is her favorite thing at daycare. With all that they have had going on we plan on staying home this weekend and getting ready for Makenzie to start first grade on Monday.

Gatlinburg

This weekend Mom and Dad took us to Gatlinburg to stay. Mom forgot the camera so there are no pictures but we had lots of fun. Friday night we went to our friends cabin and hung out. I got in the hot tub with my friend Kenzie and gave makeovers to each other while Morgan played pool and sang for Kenzie's papaw . Saturday we got up really early and spent the day at Dollywood which was so much fun. Sunday we went to Splash Country and ran into our cousins Jarred and Javen. On the way home Sunday we stopped at Wasabi and at it was Morgan's first time. She really loved eating there and watching the fire!
